President’s Message
With more than 30 years of experience, the National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at Abilities!
continues to play a major role in helping businesses create accessible work environments, products and
services for people with disabilities. As the leading resource for employers seeking to integrate people
with disabilities into the workplace and companies seeking to reach them in the consumer marketplace, NBDC
is grateful to its member companies for their diligence, dedication and commitment to support the belief that
employees with disabilities be treated with dignity and respect so we, as people with disabilities, may have
the same rights and responsibilities as others.
As leaders committed to diversity in the fullest sense, you are highly valued by NBDC. It is with tireless effort that you have demonstrated a commitment to individuals with disabilities as both employees and customers and serve as mentors to other businesses by recruiting, hiring, retaining, accommodating, promoting, creating accessible environments for employees with disabilities, and supporting NBDC programs and services.
